  1. A Christmas Carol This song is by Tom Lehrer and appears on the live album An Evening Wasted With Tom Lehrer () on the album More of Tom Lehrer () on the album Songs & More Songs by Tom Lehrer () on the 3 Disc Box-Set The Remains of Tom Lehrer () Spoken live introduction on An Evening Wasted With Tom Lehrer: One very familiar type of song is the Christmas carol.
  2. Tom Lehrer is a genius! I was lucky to have parents that listened to his albums during the '60s when I was growing up, and although in my teens and 20s I rejected pretty much all my parent's music, I always did adore Tom Lehrer. I've greatly enjoyed learning his songs and singing them for my own amusement and sometimes for others' as well/5().
  3. Mark Russell gives credit to his success to inspiration from Tom Lehrer, a bored Harvard professor who obviously had too much time on his hands.:) On this album, Tom Lehrer puts to his own piano playing skills irreverent satire on much of today's themes, which, over 50 years later, continue to exist/5().
  4. More of Tom Lehrer was an identical album to An Evening Wasted With Tom Lehrer, and released at the same time, but recorded in a studio rather than a live performance.
  5. Ates. That is to say the commercial spirit. So I should like to offer the following christmas carol for next year, as being perhaps a bit more appropriate. Christmas time is here, by golly, Disapproval would be folly, Deck the halls with hunks of holly, Fill the cup and don't say "when." Kill the turkeys, ducks and chickens.
  6. More of Tom Lehrer, an Album by Tom Lehrer. Released in October on Lehrer (catalog no. TL ; Vinyl LP). Genres: Satire, Comedy, Musical Comedy.
  7. Digitally re-mastered edition of this album. More of Tom Lehrer is effectively a studio recording of the album An Evening Wasted with Tom Lehrer, which had been released earlier the same year. Even so, there is still a 'live' feel to the album, since recording took little more than three hours at the RCA Studios in New York/5(11).
